Our Simple Process
Hurdle strives to make owning your own land an easy straightforward process. They work with their clients one-on-one. The process of purchasing your own piece of property has never been so simple!
1. Call the OfficeIt is that simple. Just call us. We can answer your questions. We will get you the information you need to make a decision. Remember, we are here to help! |

2. We get you the information you requestedAfter it’s determined what you are interested in, we will get you a package with specific details about the land OR you will be directed to a specific page on our website. All the information is there for you. |

3. Look at the Land!At your leisure, go out to the property. Feel free to walk around on it. Imagine what you will do with it. Take the family and friends! Spend all the time you need to make the correct decision. We will not send a salesman to hassle or coerce you into making a purchase. This is a personal decision for you and your family. We do our best to keep signs on each individual farm and to keep the lines and corners marked. We are a small family company so sometimes this gets ahead of us. Just let us know if you need help. |

4. Contact HurdleOnce you've made that decision, tell us what you’re interested in and then we will get some basic information from you for the paperwork. Then you will send us the $295 down payment. |

5. Sign the Sales Contract and Notarize the Closing PacketOnce we receive the down payment we will send you the sales contract. You simply review the contract and sign where noted. Take the Closing Packet to a Notary (usually an attorney or bank will have a Notary available). Sign the paperwork where noted in front of the Notary. |

6. Send Sales Contract and Closing Packet back.Once you have signed the sales contract and the closing packet is notarized, keep a copy for yourself and send us back the originals. |

7. That is all!Once we receive it back in our office, we are all done. Congratulations, you just purchased land from Hurdle! In case you were wondering about other fees or expenses, we cover those! All you are responsible for is your down payment, your monthly payment and future property taxes. |
